After about two years of running around in an incredible hot multiplayer spandex sweatsuit (Arkham v3); I decided to go a completely different direction with my costume. Having learned how tough it was to wear the spandex I decided to try to go with something that I figured would be a little more comfortable. The good guys at universal designs make Motorcycle suits that are themed after movies and television characters! My plan was to pair a suit up with an Arkham origins mask as the mask was typically a two-piece meaning that I … could turn my head! The other things was my belt; it had all but fallen apart after all the events and abuse I put it through. I reverse engineered it and managed to make my own that looks fairly similar.
Around this time I signed up with the AC/BC angels choppers Bicycle club. This is a group in Victoria that works with kids to build bicycles for visiting celebrities to teach them new skills. They also do what they call a “ride share” where all the kids get to ride a bike in a big pack over to wherever it is they are heading. One of the neat things they do is they get some of the adults on motorcycles to make the experience that much more enjoyable for the kids. My plan down the road is to get a fun electric scooter to do these rides with them. I have on multiple occasions used scooters and mopeds just so I can be involved, nothing is funnier then seeing a super armored batman riding a pink scooter.
The suit worked out decently – Albeit it is little small for me.
